On Saturday, August 24, 2013, Dr. E. Faye Williams, National Chair, the National Congress of Black Women (NCBW) joined the Reverend Al Sharpton and the National Action Network (NAN) at the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington where NCBW marched for jobs, women in leadership and freedom; to protect the liberties set forth in the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the voting rights Act of 1965.

Dr. E Faye Williams, Esq. is an Obama Administration Presidential Appointee (Commissioner -Presidential Scholars Commission), National Chair of the National Congress of Black Women (NCBW), Respected Attorney and Author, "The TRUTH, Shall Set You Free." Dr. Williams has been in the forefront of social change for decades. She demonstrated her expertise in Politics during the 2008 Presidential election, where she was a surrogate for the “OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT” Campaign and is now a "PRESIDENTIAL PARTNER" who works with the Administration on many subjects. During the campaign, she was a highly sought after rally program speaker and debater and she traveled throughout the country for numerous campaign events.


Chosen by her predecessor, the late Hon. Dr. C. Delores Tucker - The First Black Secretary of State, Dr. Williams spearheaded the aggressive effort to gain the U.S. Senate Apology for Lynching and the historical milestone of enacting the H.R. 4510 Bill, otherwise known as the Sojourner Truth Memorial bill, into law.

Williams was the first African American to run a viable political campaign for the U.S. Congress in Louisiana. She also served as WHITE HOUSE LIAISON to the U.S. Department of Energy. She is former COUNSEL TO THE U.S. CONGRESS and Congressman Mervyn M. Dymally (D-Ret.), and General Counsel to the National Congress of Black Women.

Williams has been a catalyst for social change for over three decades. She has received advanced degrees in Public Administration, Ministry and Law from the University of Southern California (MPA) and City University at Los Angeles (PhD) UCLA, Wesley Theological (D. Min) and the Howard University School of Law (JD) respectively and an undergraduate degree from Grambling University.
